POLITICAL AWARENESS & INVOLVEMENT

The West Palm Beach Alumnae Chapter is committed to proactively informing and educating our members and community about political issues that impact their daily lives. Our chapter actively participates in Grand Chapter initiatives such as Delta Days at the Nation’s Capital and Delta Days at the State Capital to stay engaged with legislation and advocate for meaningful change in our communities.

DELTA DAYS AT THE CAPITAL
Delta Days at the Capitol (DDAC) serves as a statewide legislative conference designed to educate, empower, and engage members of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. in the policy-making process. Through advocacy, dialogue, and strategic action, DDAC equips sorors to address critical issues impacting our communities and to amplify our collective voice in government spaces. Rooted in the Sorority’s commitment to social action, the event underscores the importance of civic engagement, informed leadership, and bold representation at the state level—ensuring that our presence influences meaningful and lasting change.

FORTITUDE ON THE FRONTLINE
This year, the West Palm Beach Alumnae Chapter’s social action committee showed up strong—raising over $10,000 for scholarships, adopting precincts, leading voter education, phone banking, and canvassing neighborhoods.
We were in the game last year, and now we’re ready to take flight and reach even greater heights.
